This is a work from 2005 titled ‘Curtain’ which was executed at the Khoj artist international workshop at Vasind. Prajakta Potnis translated the pictoriality of ‘Curtain’ into a site-specific installation. The whitewashed walls of the guesthouse where the workshop was held were extended as sensuous, allusive objects by the simple addendum of a frill, creating a delicate frisson between object and surface.
